With a long and decorated career in working for the benefit of children by exposing those who perpetrate crimes against them, Chris has changed countless lives and made the world in many ways a safer place.
Chris Hansen is the co-founder of the factual streaming network TruBlu (www.watchtrublu.com) and Executive Producer and Host of his latest child predator investigation series, Takedown with Chris Hansen. Since the start of Takedown with Chris Hansen, while working alongside law enforcement agencies around the country, together they have identified and apprehended over 150 men attempting to commit crimes against children. TruBlu is also home to numerous investigative documentaries and series. As a regular contributor to Fox News, Hansen continues to utilize his platforms to educate and bring awareness to the crimes and criminals facing society
today.
Hansen was an executive producer and reporter for the “Onision in Real Life” and “Unseamly...The Peter Nygard Investigation” series on Discovery+. Hansen has also been host and correspondent for the syndicated program Crime Watch Daily as well as Killer Instinct on ID. During his 21 years at Dateline NBC Hansen created the groundbreaking investigations To Catch A Predator and later Hansen VS Predator and Have A Seat with Chris Hansen. Tonight, we talk about the importance of this kind of work as Christ followers committed to the care of children, as well as announce for the first time an opportunity to engage in a new endeavor where we can help prevent these sorts of engagements and keep children safe through parent education.
